The Women's Desk produces programming that explores the issues and perspectives of women with a particular focus on the intersections of gender, race, class and sexuality. The Welfare Radio Collaborative is a project of the Women's Desk. This desk also collaborates with the Women Rising Radio Project.
Produces radio programming on a wide spectrum of topics and women's perspectives.
Networks with grassroots women's groups to formulate, appear on, use and evaluate programs.
Amplifies women's voices by advocating for our perspectives to be heard in public forums and classrooms.
Trains women who have little access to technology and communications to record, edit, produce and distribute high impact radio programs.
Supported by independent funding sources, the Women's Desk is free to explore and expose government and corporate roles in issues that affect women. Please support the Women's Desk.
